The FEMPOWER Erasmus+ Project ran from March 2022 to February 2024. During the project lifetime, there are three main progress stages: Research, Planning & Execution of the Mini-Course Programme. After the completion of the Erasmus co-funded project, the produced tools and materials are available publicly on this project website. The consortium and project lead ensure the continuous adaptation and upscaling of the FEMPOWER Mini-Course Series.
In the first stage of the FEMPOWER Project, the consortium focused on the research and analysis that evaluates the current situation of gender expectations.
A comparative report summarizes the outcomes and presents the basis for the creation of the FEMPOWER Mini-Course Programme.

Based on the Needs Analysis, the FEMPOWER Mini-Course Programme was modelled, including evaluation methods, staff support, best practices as well as examples of practical work and individual stories which ensure the realistic aspect of the FEMPOWER experience.
A general structure and framework was developed including the duration, most effective formats and channels on how to hold the session, suggestions for integration into the Practice Enterprise activities, providing online options and adaptations for the sessions and the skills in focus.
The FEMPOWER Mini-Courses provide the best possible educational support through professional role-models. The consortium looked for presenters who are inspiring teachers, HR representatives from an international company or professionals with experience in leadership training. Each Mini-Course session is dedicated to a specific topic supporting, training and empowering female youth.

The third stage launched the FEMPOWER Mini-Course programme as a series of events. Based on the previous activities and outcomes, the events were delivered in formats depending on participants’ needs, desired performance outcomes, and resources available.
Based on the respective Mini-Course topic, different digital tools were created to follow up after the Mini-Course and elaborate on the specific topic for others to adjust and apply the Mini-Course training, including videos, quizzes, webcasts, recordings, fact sheets and other digital resources.
